Today’s Daily Prompt: What was the last thing that gave you a real, authentic, tearful, hearty belly laugh? Why was it so funny?
I have been an avid fan of Game of Thrones since the books were first published. The TV series was just as gripping as it made me watch episode after episode, and has left me wanting more. There was no other episode that was as exciting, horrifying, exciting and satisfying as the Purple Wedding – where King Joffrey Beratheon was poisoned. Joffrey was a mean, sadistic, stupid king that wanted nothing more than to please himself. Judging from the reactions of fans on Twitter, I was not alone in rejoicing when the character died.
The morning after the episode aired, I saw the meme below which made me laugh sooooooo hard. The picture on the meme was of Joffrey dying slowly from the poison.
